A baby brand wants Tatako in its welcome email. A parenting newsletter asks for a partner link. Both get a clear yes from your program.

Tatako is hiring its first Partner Programs Manager to turn one-off requests from companies into programs with written terms. Here is how the role differs from its neighbors: the Community Partnerships Manager goes to parent groups, libraries and early learning programs, the Creator Partnerships Lead works with individual creators, and you work with companies, under contract, through programs that keep running after the handshake.

About Tatako

Tatako is a first-words app for families raising a child with two languages. A lesson takes about five minutes, there is nothing to read, and a small round octopus keeps everyone company. He has eight arms, no socks, and usually loses count at seven.

The language of home stays the language of home. Tatako adds a second one on top, at a toddler’s pace, from the very first words. A guide voice can explain what to do, and you can switch it off whenever you like. Every lesson has three small steps: Hear it, say it. Touch it. Name it. In the last step the picture comes back without the word, and the child names it first.

We started with English: first words and phrases, from “hello” and “mommy” to colors, animals and what the teacher says at preschool. More languages are on the way. Tatako works in the browser on any phone or tablet.

The role

  • Remote and full-time, open to candidates anywhere in the world
  • Fluent English
  • You report directly to the founders

By day 90, the affiliate program has written terms, tracking you trust and its opening partners live, and every company that writes to us gets a clear next step within a week.

What you will do

  • Design Tatako’s partner programs from zero: who qualifies, what a partner offers families, what the partner gets in return and when a deal ends.
  • Launch the affiliate program for websites, newsletters and review pages, with partner links, clean attribution and payouts on a fixed schedule.
  • Build the referral program: one parent invites another, both can see what they get, and the rules fit in two lines.
  • Sign co-marketing and bundle deals with companies that already serve families: baby and kids brands, phone carriers, retailers and employer family benefits.
  • Write the partner kit: program terms reviewed by a lawyer, approved claims, brand assets and word cards ready to use.
  • Keep the reports honest: sign-ups and lessons started per partner, fraud and leaked codes caught early, and a monthly review with the founders.
  • Share one partner list with the community and creator leads, so every relationship has one owner and no family hears from us twice.

What you bring

  • 4+ years running affiliate, referral or partner programs for a consumer app, subscription or family brand.
  • Hands-on work with partner tracking: impact.com, PartnerStack or similar, plus deep links and app attribution.
  • Deal sense: you take a contract from intro call to signature and know which clause needs a lawyer.
  • A spreadsheet mind: you know what a partner really costs per family, and when a program should end.
  • A clear line on privacy: no partner ever receives a child’s data, and you can explain why to any sales team.
  • Partner manners: quick answers, short emails and promises kept.

Bonus points

  • You have started a partner program at a small company, with no playbook to copy.
  • You have launched a bundle with a carrier, a retailer or an employee benefits platform.

Why you will love it

  • A blank page with real demand: these companies already have the families, and you write the rules for working with them.
  • An octopus who opens doors: brands find him very hard to turn down.
  • You see the whole path, from a partner’s link to a child saying a new word at breakfast.
