Marketing Analyst

One mom, three touches: a creator’s Reel, a TikTok ad, her sister’s WhatsApp. Which one brought her in? Your call moves budget.

Tatako is hiring its first Marketing Analyst to show where new families come from and what each channel is worth. Attribution, the weekly channel review and the tests behind every budget decision are yours to build.

About Tatako

Tatako makes short spoken English lessons for little ones. A lesson takes about five minutes, there is nothing to read, and a small round octopus keeps everyone company. He has eight arms, no socks, and usually loses count at seven.

Spanish stays the language of home, and Tatako adds a little English on top. An optional Spanish guide voice explains what to do and switches off anytime. Every lesson has three small steps: Hear it, say it. Touch it. Name it. In the last step the picture comes back without the word, and the child names it first.

The course has 369 first words and phrases, from “hello” and “mommy” to colors, animals and what the teacher says at preschool. Tatako works in the browser on any phone or tablet, and we start with Spanish-speaking families across the United States.

The role

  • Remote and full-time, open to candidates who live in Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee or Arizona
  • Fluent English
  • You report directly to the founders

By day 90, every link we share carries clean UTM tags, the weekly review runs on numbers the growth team trusts, and you can say which channels bring families who stay.

What you will do

  • Map every road to Tatako: creators, paid social, community partners, the parent blog in both languages and, once the apps arrive, both stores, with Adjust, SKAN and AdAttributionKit in place.
  • Own UTM discipline: one naming convention, a shared link builder, a weekly sweep for untagged links, and GA4 and ad tags kept to the pages for grown-ups, with nothing in the lessons.
  • Set up creator links and codes with the partnerships team, plus a how-did-you-hear question for grown-ups, so a podcast mention without a link still credits its creator.
  • Test landing pages on tatako.com one change at a time, with a stopping rule set in advance and results split by channel: a parent who just saw the octopus wave and one from the blog read it differently.
  • Define the numbers with the founders: a new family is one that finishes a lesson and marks how every word went, and cost per new family and payback read the same for every channel.
  • Run the weekly channel review: new families, cost and payback per channel side by side, what changed and why, and where budget goes next.
  • Plan incrementality tests with the growth team: geo holdouts, conversion lift tests on Meta and Google, and a saturation read before any channel gets more budget.

What you bring

  • 2+ years in marketing analytics or media measurement at a consumer app, e-commerce brand or agency.
  • Daily SQL on BigQuery, plus Python or R for payback curves, lifetime value and saturation curves by channel.
  • Hands-on time with Adjust or another mobile measurement partner, and a clear view of what SKAN and AdAttributionKit each see and miss.
  • Comfort reading Meta, TikTok and Google Ads reports and GA4, and a skeptic’s habit of checking each platform’s numbers against our own.
  • Respect for children’s privacy, COPPA included, and the skill to measure with aggregated reports instead of personal data.
  • Clean Looker Studio or Tableau views and clear writing: every chart has a headline that states the finding, and every review opens with the recommendation.

Bonus points

  • You have built a simple media mix model and used it to move budget.
  • You have measured campaigns for Hispanic or bilingual families in the US.

Why you will love it

  • You set the rules before anyone argues about them: what a new family is, how links are tagged and how a channel earns budget.
  • No years of messy tags to untangle: the data starts clean with you.
  • Your review decides where the octopus shows up next: a creator’s Reel, a parent group or a store page.

How to apply
